Lovers of CANDY turned out for an author reading June 1, and also heard audiotapes of Terry Southern reading from Candy. A selection of rare photographs of Southern with various friends and colleagues were shown.
The numerous pirate editions of Candy were described, and a wide variety of unauthorized editions were on display.
